Police in Razgrad have detained a 57-year-old man wanted on a European Arrest Warrant, the Regional Directorate of the Interior Ministry said on Monday.
The man, whose residence address registration is in the village of Belovets near Kubrat, appeared in the Schengen Information System as wanted by Belgium for an alleged involvement in an organized crime group engaged in fraud and document counterfeiting.
The individual is held at the regional investigative detention facility pending extradition.
