The Days of Bulgarian Culture in Krakow opened on May 12 at a tourist mountain centre in the Polish city. This was announced by the Bulgarian School "Dora Gabe" in Krakow, Poland, on its Facebook page.
The opening event was accompanied by two presentations of Bulgaria’s largest national parks – the Rhodopes and Pirin.
Piotr Siwek and Andrzej Laczynski captivated the audience with beautiful photos and stories from Bulgaria.
After the end of the presentations, the guests took part in a discussion.
On May 13, the Bulgarian film Whale (1970) directed by Petar Vasilev will be screened at Klub Re at 6 pm. Students from the Bulgarian Studies Department at Jagiellonian University have produced and adapted Polish subtitles.
The third day of Bulgarian culture, May 14, will feature a meeting with Krakow-based translators of Bulgarian literature at 6:30 pm.
