Five exhibitions showcasing various aspects of Bulgarian history, culture, and art are open to visitors in different cities across Slovakia this June, the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Bratislava announced on Facebook.
Among them is the exhibition "Ancient Treasures of Bulgaria", on display at the Slovak National Museum in Bratislava.
Until June 15, the "Heritage and Memory Beyond Borders" exhibition can be viewed at the University Library in Bratislava.
The exhibition "Home" by contemporary Bulgarian artist Ivan Todorov is on display at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in the Slovak capital through June 28.
Valery Poshtarov’s photography exhibition "Father and Son" is open to visitors in Banska Bystrica throughout the month of June.
Among the featured projects is the exhibition "Gutenberg and the Slavic World", presented as part of the Cyril and Methodius celebrations in the Devin district of Bratislava. The Bulgarian Cultural Institute announced that the exhibition will also be presented in Bratislava in July.
"From ancient treasures and literary heritage to contemporary art and photography, five different perspectives on the richness of Bulgarian culture," the institute noted.
