Yastrebets Hotel Wellness & SPA offers new concepts for harmony and recovery based on herbs, energy therapies and modern comfort, the complex’s management has told the Bulgarian News Agency.
The hotel recently completed a full renovation of its accommodation facilities and now welcomes guests with a refreshed interior combining alpine cosiness with modern design. The bed capacity includes a total of 57 units: 34 rooms, four junior suites, four spacious suites and 15 Finnish villas set in the forest. The spaces are designed to combine comfort, elegance and functionality, providing privacy, quiet and a full connection with nature.
A team of massage therapists and kinesiotherapists supports guests’ fitness and recovery through a wide range of massages and face and body therapies.
At the heart of the experience is the spa philosophy of Yastrebets Hotel, inspired by the natural richness of Rila and its living herb garden. One of the hotel’s most distinctive features is developed in the spa centre: a blend of herbal medicine, energy therapies and modern holistic practices.
The hotel builds its spa identity around the power of mountain herbs. They are present in every aspect of the experience, from the scents in the thermal zones to specially created therapies and oils.
Herbal blends including chamomile, lavender and sage are used both in teas and in treatments that support detoxification and relaxation.
Special attention is given to biodynamic herbal oils, which are made on site by the hotel team. They are prepared according to the principles of anthroposophy, a philosophy that views the human being as a unity of body, mind and spirit. The herbs are gathered personally by the team in line with the lunar calendar.
These oils, made from St John’s wort, chamomile and lavender, are intended not only to have a physical effect but also to support the body’s natural regenerative processes, balance the nervous system and restore inner harmony.
The spa centre offers biomagnetic pairs, a method that uses the power of the magnetic field to restore the body’s energy balance. The therapy is based on the idea that the human body has its own magnetic polarity and that disruptions to this balance can lead to various health conditions. By placing magnets on specific points, the aim is to restore equilibrium and stimulate natural healing processes.
In addition to biomagnetic therapy, the hotel also offers an innovative analysis of energy levels using a biopulsar reflexograph, a device that visualizes the body’s condition by measuring energy flows. This type of assessment complements the holistic approach by allowing personalized recommendations and therapies tailored to guests’ individual needs.
The hotel’s spa centre includes a range of thermal facilities, including a steam bath, a Finnish sauna, a laconium and an herbal sauna, which support detoxification and improved circulation.
Additional facilities such as an ice fountain, Kneipp foot therapy and a relaxation area with a panoramic view of the pine forest contribute to overall recovery.
