New Center of Victoria Spa Chain to Open in Plovdiv

No need for a visa, wearing flip-flops and riding public transport - just ten minutes away from the historic center of Sofia - one can escape to Asia to give themselves a few hours of peace for the body and soul. Professional spa staff from Bali, the Philippines, and India promise to pamper visitors at Victoria Spa in the Ramada Hotel in Sofia, which is part of the facilities listed in the Tourism Ministry register of certified SPA and wellness centers.

At Victoria Spa, 95% of the staff come from third countries: outstanding professionals from Bali, the Philippines, and India, Victoria Kesarovska, who founded the chain of spa centers in 2005, told BTA. As of today, the centers are six, located both in Bulgaria and in the city of Batumi, Georgia, at Ramada Hotel in Sofia, Flores Garden Chernomorets, and the Royal Spa Hotel in Velingrad.

A new Victoria Spa is currently being built at the Ramada Trimontium Hotel in Plovdiv.

The spa center in Sofia is spread over an area of 4,000 sq. m and offers an indoor swimming pool (25/12 m); a summer garden for sunbathing, a vitamin bar, 14 luxury rooms for massages and spa treatments, a beauty salon, a hair salon, a fitness hall; a thermal zone with a salt room, salt sauna, Finnish sauna, steam bath, Turkish bath, and relaxation room.

Massages and procedures are performed by an international team from the island of Bali, the Philippines, and India. Part of the spa menu includes traditional Balinese massage; traditional Thai massage; Bangkok ritual; shiatsu, ashiatsu (massage performed by walking on the back); oriental peeling in a Turkish bath; four-hand and six-hand massages; massages with clay, algae, and chocolate in a Turkish bath; anti-cellulite and slimming procedures; Balinese rituals for beautiful skin, and more.

The spa center’s beauty salon offers facial therapies for every skin type, as well as a wide range of equipment for face and body: LPG, Hydrafacial; cryotherapy; laser hair removal; cavitation; radiofrequency lifting; muscle stimulation, and more.

One of our newest procedures is HEAD SPA - a ritual for the head, scalp, and face lasting 60 minutes, or for the head, scalp, and body lasting 90 minutes, performed on a special bed with a built-in hair-washing unit and a relaxing shower, the owner of the spa chain explained.

BTA presents news from certified SPA, wellness, and medical SPA centres in Bulgaria in its BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water feature. Their total number exceeds 200. The initiative, organized in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and SPA Tourism, is linked to Europe’s leading health tourism event, the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, which will be held from May 11 to 13, 2026, in Varna, Sts. Constantine and Helena, Golden Sands, and Albena. BTA will be the event’s main media partner.
