Germany Soil Protection
As part of this year's soil protection liming program, a helicopter is spreading magnesium lime over a forested area near Glashütte, Germany, Tuesday, July 28, 2026. On behalf of the state-owned enterprise Sachsenforst, the helicopter will fly over approximately 6,900 hectares of forest in various forest districts of the Free State of Saxony through October, spreading nearly 21,000 metric tons of magnesium lime.
