57 New Cases,
Positivity Rate at 0.66%
Sofia, July 26 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in
Bulgaria reached 423,686 after 8,650 tests identified 57 new
infections on Sunday, July 25, according to data posted Monday on the
national coronavirus information platform at https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate for the day was 0.66 per cent.
Regions of Varna and Burgas (on the Black Sea) and Plovdiv Region (South Central Bulgaria) top the list of new cases with 11 positive tests each.
The active cases are 7,341. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 716, including 77 in intensive care.
One fatality was reported, and the death toll now adds up to 18,194.
With 1,998 new inoculations in 24 hours, 1,968,095 persons in
aggregate have received a coronavirus vaccination so far,
including 897,482 who are fully vaccinated. /RI/
