Canada Introduces
New Rules for
Arriving Bulgarians

Sofia, September 4 (BTA) - Canada is introducing new rules for arriving Bulgarian citizens, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From September 7, all fully vaccinated Bulgarian citizens have the right to enter the territory of Canada without a 14-day quarantine, under several conditions.

According to the Bulgarian embassy in Ottawa, the conditions are: proof of a complete series of vaccinations or a combination of vaccines given at least 14 days before entering Canada; a negative result from a PCR test for COVID-19 taken not more than 72 hours before the planned entry into Canada, or a previous positive result for COVID-19 obtained from 14 to 180 days before departure for Canada; the required information for arrival in Canada must be provided by registering in the ArriveCAN application.

Passengers who have not been fully vaccinated are subject to quarantine and must be tested before and after arrival (day one and day eight) and must provide travel, contact and quarantine information via ArriveCAN.
