COVID-19 Update:
1,724, New Cases,
Test Positivity Rate at 8.14%


Sofia, September 17 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19
cases in Bulgaria reached 478,885, after 21,167 tests
identified 1,724 new infections on Thursfay, according to data
posted on https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now
stands at 8.14 per cent.

The active cases are 39,599. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 4,627, including 396 in intensive care.

Another 1,964 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 419,410.

Sixty-seven fatalities were reported, and the death toll now
adds up to 19,876.

With 11,198 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 2,448,482
vaccine doses have been administered so far and 1,265,174 people
are fully vaccinated. ZH
