COVID-19 Update:
951 New Cases,
Test Positivity Rate at 7.6%
Sofia, September 19 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 481,728, after12,448 tests identified 951 new infections on Saturday, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at 7.6 per cent.
Sofia City tops the list of new cases with 184 positive tests, followed by Burgas with 109 and Varna with 93.
The active cases are 39,388. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 4,703, including 396 in intensive care.
Another 513 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 422,355.
Thirty fatalities were reported, and the death toll now adds up to 19,985.
With 3,043 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 2,461,969 vaccine doses have been administered so far and 1,274,875 people are fully vaccinated.
