COVID-19 Update:
2,192 New Cases,
Test Positivity Rate at 9.8%


Sofia, September 22 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19
cases in Bulgaria reached 486,738, after 22,276 tests identified
2,192 new infections on Tuesday, according to data posted on
https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at
9.8 per cent.

The active cases are 40,832. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 4,935, including 405 in intensive care.

Another 1,030 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 425,682.

Fifty-eight fatalities were reported, and the death toll now
adds up to 20,224.

With 10,071 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 2,481,276
vaccine doses have been administered so far and 1,290,000 people
are fully vaccinated.
