Bulgaria’s Deputy Foreign Minister Elena Shekerletova participated in an informal meeting of EU foreign ministers (Gymnich) in Copenhagen on Saturday, Shekerletova’s ministry said in a press release.

The meeting, organized by the Danish Presidency of the EU Council, discussed Russia’s aggression against Ulraine, the situation in the Middle East and the working methods of the EU Foreign Affairs Council. Some of the discussions were also attended by the chief diplomats of Iceland, Norway and the UK, and European Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee Chair David McAllister.

On Friday, the participants in the meeting had an informal dinner with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, Belarusian opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya and her husband Sergei Tikhanovsky.
