Polish President Andrzej Duda and his wife Agata Kornhauser-Duda were welcomed in Sofia by President Rumen Radev and his wife Desislava Radeva with an official ceremony in the St. Alexander Nevsky Square. Duda is on an official visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of President Radev.
The Polish head of State then paid tribute at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier.
The prospects for advancing bilateral economic relations and investments between Bulgaria and Poland, the partnership in the security and defence sector, science, culture and education are expected to be on the agendas of the talks between the two heads of state. Radev and Duda will also discuss issues on the European Union's agenda, regional cooperation and the security environment in Europe.
Rumen Radev and Andrzej Duda will hold a one-on-one meeting, followed by plenary talks between the official delegations.
