More than 20 drones attacked energy infrastructure in the Danubean city of Reni in Ukraine in the night between Monday and Tuesday, according to local Telegram channels.

Beginning at 11:08 pm, the southern part of Odesa Region was targeted in a drone attack, with Reni and Izmail being hit the hardest.

Telegram users reported powerful explosions in Reni and targets being struck.

Local authorities urged residents to run to the bomb shelters. 

The Bulgarian community in Odesa Region numbers over 150,000 people and ranks third in size according to the latest official census in Ukraine. In the city of Odesa itself, there are about 50,000–60,000 Bulgarians. The largest concentrated Bulgarian population is found in the Bolhrad, Izmail, and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi districts.
