Weather conditions in Bulgaria’s mountains are not suitable for tourism, the Mountain Rescue Service to the Bulgarian Red Cross told the Bulgarian News Agency on Thursday.
Thin snow cover above 1,800 meters, the weather is windy and foggy.
No incidents involving tourists were reported over the past 24 hours.
National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology's Thursday mountain weather forecast: Cloudy and rainy. Snow expected at altitudes above 1,800 m. Wind strong, northwesterly. Highs: 7C at 1,200 m, 2C at 2,000 m.
