The conditions for hiking in the mountains are good on Thursday morning, the Bulgarian Red Cross Mountain Rescue Service told BTA.

The weather is warm, clear, and sunny. Nontheless, people are advised to mind the heat and the dangers of the mountain.

It will be mostly sunny in the mountains before noon, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology said. Around and after noon, cumulus clouds will develop and there will be brief showers accompanied by thundershowers at isolated places in the western half of the country. Light to moderate winds will blow from the east-southeast, from the southwest at higher elevations. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 metres will be about 31C, about 24C at 2,000 m.
