Conditions are good for hiking in the mountains on Wednesday, but hot weather is expected, the Bulgarian Red Cross Mountain Rescue Service told BTA.

The weather is sunny, in places there is broken cloud, on the ridges of the Balkan Mountains there is a light wind.

In the resorts, temperatures in the morning are 20C to 22C.

It will be sunny in the mountains before noon, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology said. In the afternoon, cumulus and cumulus-rain clouds will develop and in places in the western half of the country it will rain and thunder. Moderate to temporarily strong easterly winds will blow, and from the south-southwest in the highest parts of the mountains. Highs will be about 31C at 1,200 m, about 24C at 2000 m.
