The weather is sunny, warm, clear, and calm, according to the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) of the Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC).

No incidents involving tourists have been reported in the past 24 hours, the MRS added.

According to the forecast of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH), it will be mostly sunny in the mountains. After noon, cumulus clouds will develop. Only in isolated areas in the mountains of southwestern Bulgaria will there be short-lived rain. There will be a moderate wind, and in the higher parts, a temporarily strong northerly wind. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 metres will be around 25C, and at 2,000 metres, around 17C.
