The conditions for tourism in the mountains are good on Saturday, the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) of the Bulgarian Red Cross told BTA.

The weather is sunny and calm, with moderate wind near Botev Peak and the Balkan mountains. Temperatures in the resorts are between 5C and 15C.

The MRS also said  that the hut keeper of the Kon hut died on Friday. The cause has not yet been determined.

The weather in the mountains will be mostly sunny on Saturday, with cumulus and cumulus-rain clouds in Eastern Bulgaria in the afternoon, and short-term rain and thunderstorms in some areas, and moderate northerly wind, National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology said. Highs: 18C at 1,200m, 12C at 2,000m.
