The mountain hiking conditions are good, the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) with the Bulgarian Red Cross told BTA on Monday.

MRS added that the weather is sunny, there is a light to moderate wind in the higher parts while the temperatures are relatively low - 5C to 6C. 

Here's National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology's mountain weather forecast for Monday: Sunny before noon, then showers and thunderstorms, chiefly in the western ranges and along the Balkan ridge. Wind strong west-northwesterly. Highs: 14C at 1,200 m, 8C at 2,000 m.
