Tennis Player Donski Qualifies for Second Challenger Doubles Final in His Career

Bulgarian tennis player Alexander Donski and his teammate Siddhant Banthia qualified for the final of a doubles Challenger tournament in Kigali, Rwanda on Friday. That is Donski's second final at this level after he lost his first match for a Challenger title in July 2024 in Segovia, Spain with Portuguese partner Tiago Pereira.

The Bulgarian and Banthia, the 4th seed in the tournament, secured a 6-4 6-3 victory in their semi-final tie with Alafia Ayeni and Luka Pavlovic. In the final they will meet the 3rd seed - Geoffrey Blancaneaux (No. 143 in ATP doubles rankings) and Zdenek Kolar (No. 240).

Donski's currently No. 219 in the doubles ladder while his partner Siddhant Banthia is No. 235.
