Bulgaria's highest ranked tennis player Viktoriya Tomova qualified for the quarterfinals of the WTA 500 tournament in Seoul, Hana Bank Korea Open, on Thursday. She scored a 7-5 4-1 win over world No. 46 Amanda Anisimova. The American, who reached the Roland Garros semi-final in 2019, was forced to retire due to injury.
