site.btaSofia Launches Night Bus Service to Airport

Starting July 14, Sofia's public transportation system will introduce several changes to improve access to Vasil Levski Airport, most notably the launch of a night bus service (line N4). The N4 route will now operate 24/7 and will go to both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of the airport.

This ensures round-the-clock public transport access to the airport - a decision approved by the Sofia Municipal Council in late June. The night bus route has been adjusted in both directions (toward Druzhba II District and Gotse Delchev District) to accommodate this change.

In addition, bus lines 84 and 184 have been merged into a single route , line 84. The new line 84 will also serve both airport terminals before heading toward Druzhba.

To improve service, the interval between buses on line 84 has been reduced from 24 minutes to 12 minutes.
