The price of electricity will go up by an average 2% from July 1, said Energy and Water Regulatory Commission head Ivan Ivanov at a new briefing on Wednesday.

According to him, experts are still doing estimates and reviewing investments by energy companies in order to be factored into the price proposal. "This is why we can't say exactly by how much the price will change" said Ivanov.

Ivanov said that during the next year the price of electricity from Kozloduy N-plant will remain unchanged.
