Energy experts will discuss innovations in energy storage as a key to sustainable energy transition at a roundtable at the Sofia Balkan Palace Hotel on Monday. The event is organized by the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association (BICA) and the Technical University of Sofia.
The forum is expected to be opened by Energy Minister Rumen Radev, Environment and Water Minister Julian Popov, Innovation and Growth Deputy Minister Georgi Angelov and MEP Tsvetelina Penkova.
The forum will discuss the challenges facing energy production and storage, the appropriate solutions to increase Bulgaria's capacity in this area, the different storage technologies, as well as their performance and feasibility. The aim of the roundtable is to shape and promote the main focuses of Bulgaria’s strategy for Sustainable Energy Development until 2030 with a horizon to 2050.
