An expert visit of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) headed by Jean-Francois Dauphin started with an opening meeting with Finance Minister Assen Vassilev in the period June 9-15, 2023, the Ministry said Friday.

The IMF representatives will hold meetings with experts from the Ministry of Finance, the Bulgarian National Bank, other state institutions, the private sector and non-governmental organizations.

An IMF expert mission headed by Jean-Francois Dauphin visited Bulgaria between November 30 and December 6, 2022.
