An exhibition titled Trinity by contemporary artist Alexander Dik will be presented at the Vivacom Art Hall in Sofia. The exhibition will be open to the public from June 17 to June 28, the organizers said on Thursday.

The exhibition builds a bridge between the past and the harsh present, in a world where political systems repeat, social inequality persists, and the individual is constantly forced to confront dominant structures, the gallery team noted.

Alexander Dik is a contemporary Russian-German artist, born in 1983 in Kazakhstan, then part of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. His life and work are deeply influenced by his journey from a childhood in the Soviet Union and Berlin-Marzahn to his current role as an artist. Born into a family of Russian Germans, he moved to Germany with his family in 1992. In 2019, Dik began formal studies at the Berlin Academy of Arts. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he organized his first underground Kellerism exhibitions in basement spaces, where he attracted his first collectors. He has been exhibiting publicly since 2019 and has shown work actively in Germany and abroad.
