Kazanlak Mayor Galina Stoyanova presented the region’s development potential to visiting delegations from sister cities, the local administration reported on Friday. The event welcomed guests from Cremona (Italy), Xanthi and Didymoteicho (Greece), Grasse (France), and Jungnang-gu District in Seoul, South Korea.
Stoyanova highlighted that beyond being the home of the world-famous oil-bearing rose, Kazanlak is a well-developed industrial hub. The city hosts leading enterprises in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, the food industry, and pharmaceutical production. She also emphasized that Kazanlak, situated in the heart of Bulgaria, is a thriving tourist centre. The Rose Valley draws visitors with its beauty and cultural richness, she said. One of the municipality’s greatest sources of pride, she noted, is its Thracian heritage, carefully preserved and celebrated over the years.
The delegates shared presentations on their respective cities and expressed appreciation to Stoyanova for her leadership, hospitality, and commitment to strengthening international cooperation.
