site.btaAnnual BG Radio Music Awards to Take Place Sunday Night

Two of the most recognizable faces in Bulgarian cinema and theatre, Maria Bakalova and Julian Vergov, will host the annual music award ceremony of BG Radio, which brings together the biggest names in Bulgarian music and gives deserved recognition to the artists who write the modern musical history of Bulgaria, the BG Radio team said.

In their words, the first golden carpet in Bulgaria will welcome the biggest stars of the Bulgarian music scene and beloved faces from the screen before the start of the ceremony, and Lili Ivanova will share with the audience a unique performance from the stage of Arena 8888 Sofia.

Vasil Naydenov will receive the “Most beloved Bulgarian pop artist of all time” extraordinary award dedicated to the artist and the imprint he leaves in the history of Bulgarian pop music. This year’s “BG Inspiration” award for outstanding contribution and dedication to Bulgarian music, will go to Bogdana Karadocheva. 

New performances created for the stage of the awards will be presented by Vasil Naydenov, Toni Dimitrova, Hristo Stoichkov, The Argirov Brothers, Miro, Lubo Kirov, Maria Ilieva, Grafa, The Foundation, Molets, Dara, Dara Ekimova, Mihaela Marinova, and Kristian Kostov.
