President Rumen Radev hosted a solemn iftar dinner in Sofia to mark the beginning of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, the head of State's press office said on Monday. “At a time of dramatic trials for humanity, today's event is also an occasion to make our common call for peace and understanding, for compassion and support for those in distress in regions of bloody military conflicts - where innocent women and children continue to die every day, and where human life has ceased to be a value,” Radev said.
