site.btaBTA Exhibition Presents Bulgarian Media Abroad
A BTA exhibition will present Bulgarian media abroad in 80 photos and archival materials. The exhibition will be on at the National Assembly between July 8 and 18.
Representatives of nine Bulgarian media from Austria, Canada, the US, Serbia, Ukraine, the Czech Republic and Switzerland will attend the opening of the exhibition.
It includes issues of the first Bulgarian media in Austria – the Vienna magazine, the only Bulgarian media in Croatia – Rodna Rech [Native Speech], and the only bilingual magazine for children – Farche of Serbia.
The exhibition will be opened by BTA Director General Kiril Valchev and Antoaneta Tzoneva, the Chair of the parliamentary Committee on Policies for Bulgarians Abroad.
There are 45 Bulgarian media abroad located in 22 countries on all continents except Africa and Antarctica, BTA data shows. The oldest is half a century old and the youngest - only a year old.
The world meetings of Bulgarian media abroad, organized by BTA, bring those media together once a year since 2005.
