site.btaCabinet to Approve Financial Aid to Families of Flood Victims in Burgas Region

The Council of Ministers will hold its regular weekly meeting later on Tuesday, the Government press service announced.

The agenda includes approval of one-time financial aid payments to the families of those who lost their lives in the floods in the Burgas region on October 3 and 4 this year.

Families whose property was damaged by the floods may receive up to BGN 7,500, Labour and Social Policy Minister Borislav Gutsanov said on October 8.

The agenda also includes a draft decree approving additional expenditures or transfers from the reserve under the 2025 State Budget Act of the Republic of Bulgaria for unforeseen or urgent expenses related to the prevention, containment, and recovery from natural disasters.
