Outbound passenger car traffic is heavy at the Kalotina checkpoint on the border with Serbia early Thursday morning, the Border Police said on its website.
Traffic has been restored in both directions at the Stanke Lisichkovo checkpoint on the border with the Republic of North Macedonia, the Border Police said. Traffic is normal at all other border crossing points there.
At the border with Romania, traffic is normal at all checkpoints. Since renovation of the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse is ongoing, traffic is limited to one lane and movement is regulated by the contractor’s staff.
Traffic is normal at all border crossing points on the border with Turkiye.
Construction works are underway on the Greek side of the Rudozem-Xanthi route. Authorities have posted signs indicating that the area is a construction site and prohibiting unauthorized access.
Only passenger cars and minibuses weighing up to 3.5 t are allowed to cross the checkpoints at Makaza, Zlatograd, and Ivaylovgrad.
