A yellow warning for high temperatures has been issued in 21 regions across this country on Sunday, according to the National Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH). The affected areas include Blagoevgrad, Veliko Tarnovo, Vidin, Vratsa, Gabrovo, Kyustendil, Kardzhali, Lovech, Montana, Pazardzhik, Pleven, Plovdiv, Ruse, Silistra, Sliven, Stara Zagora, Targovishte, Haskovo, and Yambol.

Temperatures in these regions are expected to peak between 35C and 37C.

According to the NIMH forecast, Sunday will be sunny, with light to moderate, and at times strong, easterly wind. Maximum temperatures will range from 34C to 39C, with Sofia seeing highs around 34C.
