National Assembly Chair Nataliya Kiselova told plenary on Wednesday that MP Myumyun Myumyun was bidding to leave the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms parliamentary group.

By leaving the group, Myumyun automatically quits his posts as Deputy Chair and member of the National Assembly Committee on Internal Security and Public Order and member of the Committee on Economic Policy and Innovation.

According to the parliamentary rules of procedure, deputy chairpersons and members of standing parliamentary committees are dismissed from office upon termination of their membership of the parliamentary group which put them on the committees. Their dismissal should only be announced without being put to the vote.
