Speaking to journalists in Parliament on Wednesday, Morality, Unity, Honour (MECh) leader Radostin Vassilev said that "GERB’s proxy Vazrazhdane" persistently attacks MECh, which is the only opposition to MRF - New Beginning leader Delyan Peevski and GERB leader Boyko Borissov. According to Vasilev, the attack of Vazrazhdane against the MPs of MECh is ordered by Borissov.

He was commenting on a statement against MECh made by Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov earlier in the day.

On Wednesday, MECh voted in favour of lifting the immunity of four MPs of Vazrazhdane, Vasilev said. In his words, this is their principled position and it does not matter whether the draft decision on the lifting is submitted by Continue the Change or by MRF - New Beginning. “We support holding to account people who smashed and vandalized the centre of Sofia,” Vasilev said, referring to the reason why the acting Prosecutor General in February requested that the four MPs of Vazrazhdane be stripped of their immunity. Vasilev added that this has caused the MPs of Vazrazhdane to say MECh have been bought by Peevski.

"I am not going to justify myself, because Kostadinov has to explain his closeness with Boyko Borissov and his poodles in the front row.  I tried to explain to my colleagues from Vazrazhdane that this policy of theirs will not gain them points, all their voters come to MECh," Vasilev said.

He said that MECh had submitted a draft resolution obliging the Council of Ministers to provide an investment cost for the acquisition of the three electricity distribution companies in Bulgaria. ”We believe that the electricity distribution companies have not been appropriately managed by private investors for decades, we believe that contrary to the will of this government for absolute liberalization of all sectors in the State, the electricity distribution companies should be State-owned,” Vasilev argued.

Vasilev said that the MECh has also submitted draft amendments to the Gambling Act, which provides for a complete ban on gambling activities by private operators. The bill has been in the pipeline for more than a month and a half, and it is a statement of what will happen to private gambling operators when MECh becomes part of the government, he said.
