site.btaNATO Multinational Battle Group in Bulgaria to Conduct Strike Back-2025 Exercise

The NATO Multinational Battle Group in Bulgaria will conduct a live-fire exercise Strike Back-2025 on June 12-13 in the area of the Novo Selo Training Area, the Defence Ministry said on Thursday. More than 400 servicemen from the national formations included in the battlegroup, as well as logistic formations will participate in the exercise.

The aim is to enhance the command and control capabilities of multinational formations in defensive combat operations.

The exercise will last 48 hours - day and night. For the first time, the close air defence formation of the Turkish Armed Forces, which is also part of the multinational battle group, will take part in it.
