site.btaOver 1,000 Foreign Students Study at Trakia University in Stara Zagora

Over 1,000 foreign students are studying in various programmes at Trakia University in Stara Zagora, the university's press center said on Thursday.

Foreign students from 44 countries from different parts of the world study at the university, including from Australia, Albania, Bangladesh, Egypt, Zimbabwe, India, Canada, Mongolia and South Korea. Over 140 first-year foreign students began their studies in Medicine and Veterinary Medicine at the university in the current academic year 2024/2025 alone. 

The press centre also emphasized that the university has signed a number of partnership agreements with universities from all over the world in recent years, with students, doctoral students and professors actively participating in international exchange programmes.

Currently, over 10,000 students are enrolled at Trakia University, which celebrated its 30th anniversary in May.
