For the first time, Bulgarian participants are below 30% and there are guests from all continents, said Burgas Free University Rector Milen Baltov during the opening of the 12th international scientific conference on modern management practices, held here on Tuesday.
He noted that among the participants are representatives of universities and institutions from Germany, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Africa and other countries, as well as guests from Colombia, adding that the conference also brings together university partner institutions from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Lithuania, and Latvia. “We can confidently say that the conference is global, not just international,” Baltov underscored.
The university rector announced that two more memoranda of cooperation with higher education institutions in Indonesia will soon be signed. “When we launched this already traditional forum 12 years ago, we added an important practical component, namely visits to high-tech companies, industrial zones, airports and other sites. This allows us to connect theory with practice and build a real, working bridge to the future,” Baltov noted, adding that this year participants will have the opportunity to visit a company from the aviation sector operating in Burgas.
Baltov expressed gratitude to BTA as the long-standing media partner of the conference and extended a special greeting to BTA Director General Kiril Valchev for his participation at the conference.
The 12th international scientific conference on modern management practices is organized by the Centre for Economic and Management Sciences at the Burgas Free University and brings together representatives of universities from all over the world.
