site.btaIncumbents to Take Proposals from Opposition for Governance Programme

For their governance programme, the incumbents will accept proposals from the opposition, GERB leader Boyko Borissov told journalists in the National Assembly on Friday. He said: “We will take proposals from all opposition parties, including Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria and MRF-New Beginning as well as any other good proposals.”

The remarks came a day after Borissov said that the Joint Governance Council will convene next week to discuss the governance programme of the Rosen Zhelyazkov cabinet and the legislative agenda of the three political forces participating in the government.

The GERB leader commented: “The programme of the cabinet and the legislative programme are ready, they have been adopted. The Council will meet next Tuesday to collate them, so that the things which the government needs to work with can pass in Parliament, and also the other relevant laws.”
