In connection with the technical incidents and the collapse of the networks of Vivacom and A1, Chairman of the Communications Regulation Commission (CRC) Ivan Dimitrov held a working meeting with the three mobile companies, the regulator said Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by Alexander Dimitrov, CEO of A1 Bulgaria, Nikolai Andreev, CEO of Vivacom Bulgaria, and Spas Velinov, CTO of Yettel Bulgaria.
The working meeting looked at the option of updating the regulatory framework, reviewing and updating the general rules of mobile operators in order to promptly notify users in case of incidents and compensate affected customers.
In connection with the incidents of the last few days, the CRC has requested internal checks from the two mobile companies, which must be completed within seven days, the statement said.
On April 29, the mobile operator A1 reported that there were technical difficulties due to which there were interferences in outgoing and incoming calls and SMS in different parts of the country. Just a few days ago, there were also problems with the use of mobile voice services and mobile Internet on the Vivacom network.
