The Commander of the Bulgarian Navy, Rear Admiral Kiril Mihailov, paid an official visit to Greece from April 9 to 12 at the invitation of the Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff, Vice Admiral Dimitrios Kataras, the Bulgarian Navy press service reported on Monday.

The guest was briefed on the actions of the Hellenic Navy in connection with the changing situation in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Black Sea. The sides discussed ways to strengthen and expand naval cooperation between the two countries.

Mihailov also met with the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, Lieutenant General Konstantinos Zolotas, and with Deputy Minister of National Defence Ioannis Kefalogiannis.
