site.btaPM Denkov: Coalition Agreement Proposed by GERB Is Good Starting Point for Real Talks with CC-DB

Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov told reporters that a draft agreement and decision-making mechanism GERB made public earlier in the day  is "a good starting point for real talks" with their power-sharing partner Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB). He said he has not had the time yet to read the document "but it is good we have a document on the table". 

The Prime Minister asked the press to give him some time to read the proposal. 

Asked to comment the possibility for a 50:50 division of the government jobs after the rotation, Denkov said that "sounded to him like something that will be on the negotiating table". 

"We have had talks with Ms Mariya Gabriel, but you will see the final result when everything is on the table: how we will proceed and what cabinet we are proposing. None of us is willing to present his version only of our discussion because that will prevent us from reaching a positive result", the Prime Minister said.
