The lowest temperatures in June in Bulgaria will be between 10C and 15C and the highest between 30C and 35C, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) said Wednesday.

In June, the average monthly temperature in Eastern Bulgaria is expected to be around the norm and in Western Bulgaria - around and below the norm. It will be between 20C and 22C for most of the country, around 23C for the Struma River valley, southwestern Bulgaria, between 17C and 19C for the high plains and between 3C and 12C for the mountains.

The likelihood of frequent showers, accompanied by thundershowers, increases again around the middle and into the second half of the period at more locations across the country.
