site.btaPM: We Are Ready for Elections
"Twelve days before April 2, we can say clearly to people that we are ready for the elections," Prime Minister Galab Donev said here Wednesday. He was speaking before the start of the government's weekly meeting.
"We are at the epicentre of the election campaign," he also said.
The government leader complained that they have to disprove "distorted interpretations of the government's decisions on a daily basis". "Every political player is attacking the caretaker government from the roof of their house of cards. Willingly or unwillingly, we are being drawn into the campaign game, often with crap and lies."
He questioned the readiness of "those running in the elections, for the days of responsibility that lie ahead after April 2".
Donev further called on the political players to think, as they make their political calculations now, of the days after Parliament is formed and decisions will have to be made for the future of Bulgaria.
