site.btaTwelve Migrants Arrested on Trakia Motorway


Twelve illegal migrants were detained on Trakia Motorway during a traffic control check by police officers from Sliven (Southeastern Bulgaria), the press centre of the regional police in Sliven confirmed for BTA. Checking a foreign car heading to Sofia on the afternoon of December 3, the police found a 33-year-old foreigner driving 12 Syrian men, four of which underage.
All of the migrants are now at the refugee accommodation centre in Lyubimets, Southeastern Bulgaria.
Pretrial proceedings have been launched. Work on the case continues.
