The Security Council with the Prime Minister is expected to hold a meeting Thursday to discuss the escalation of the war in Ukraine, the partial mobilization declared by the Russian Federation and the holding of a referendum in several Ukrainian territories.
Following the consultative meeting on the subject hosted by President Rumen Radev on September 23, caretaker Prime Minister Galab Donev said the Government is preparing all systems that could be in some way affected by an escalation of the conflict in Ukraine.
The Security Council with the Prime Minister aims to analyse the state of the national security protection system, make assessments and propose necessary solutions. It is chaired by the Prime Minister and includes representatives of the security services.
