GERB leader Boyko Borissov on Sunday presented a shadow cabinet formed by the party. The new entity was unveiled at a meeting of GERB's New Minds Political Academy in Kyustendil. It comprises 96 people, including young people from different parts of the country, assigned to the portfolios of the current ministries and working with mentors from the party's more experienced ranks.
According to Borissov, the members of the shadow cabinet were already working on specific proposals on current issues. At the next stage, the best-performing participants in each portfolio will be selected. The project is part of GERB's long-term preparations for a future term in government, Borissov said.
