“In my opinion, the measures are not sufficient,” Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) leader Delyan Peevski told journalists in Parliament regarding measures proposed by the government to tackle fuel prices.

“We will see whether the measures are sufficient and good when they are actually implemented,” he commented.

Regarding Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev’s statement that companies involved in the supply of guardrails had diverted funds to a shell company that paid for private flights taken by Peevski, the MRF leader said: “Everything they said today is fabricated, another episode of ‘Demerdzhiev Pictures’.” Peevski said that he would refer everything Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev had accused him of to the Prosecutor’s Office.

“Let me make this clear - my family and I have paid for my flights, and I have documents proving everything. Under no circumstances have my family or I been involved in public procurement,” Peevski added.
