MP Candidates Elected in Two Constituencies Declare Which One They Will Represent

Candidates for members of parliament who were elected in two multi-member constituencies (MMCs) have declared from which list they wish to enter the 52nd National Assembly. The decisions of a total of 14 individuals were announced by the Deputy Chair of the Central Election Commission (CEC) during a CEC meeting here on Friday.

The CEC said on Thursday that 13 candidates had been elected in two MMCs, but on Friday one more - Katya Paneva - fell into this category after a list leader decided from which MMC to take up their seat. Thus, 14 candidates elected in two MMCs have now stated from which constituency they will enter the 52nd National Assembly.

Alexander Georgiev Pulev chose to enter from MMC 27 – Stara Zagora instead of MMC 30 – Shumen.
Ivan Petev Demerdzhiev – from MMC 9 – Kardzhali instead of MMC 24 – Sofia.
Rumen Georgiev Radev – from MMC 25 – Sofia instead of MMC 2 – Burgas.

GERB-UDF

Boyko Metodiev Borissov – from MMC 16 – Plovdiv instead of MMC 25 – Sofia.
Delyan Aleksandrov Dobrev – from MMC 24 – Sofia instead of MMC 29 – Haskovo.
Tomislav Peykov Donchev – from MMC 7 – Gabrovo instead of MMC 23 – Sofia.

Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria

Asen Vaskov Vassilev – from MMC 16 – Plovdiv instead of MMC 29 – Haskovo.
Nikolay Denkov Denkov – from MMC 1 – Blagoevgrad instead of MMC 23 – Sofia.
Katya Maksimova Paneva – from MMC 25 – Sofia instead of MMC 29 – Haskovo.

Delyan Slavchev Peevski – from MMC 9 – Kardzhali instead of MMC 1 – Blagoevgrad.
Dimitar Ivanov Avramov – from MMC 15 – Pleven instead of MMC 12 – Montana.
Halil Redzhepov Letifov – from MMC 22 – Smolyan instead of MMC 18 – Razgrad.

Vazrazhdane 

Kostadin Todorov Kostadinov – from MMC 25 – Sofia instead of MMC 3 – Varna.
Tsoncho Tomov Ganev – from MMC 23 – Sofia instead of MMC 2 – Burgas. 

The CEC is expected to announce on Saturday the full list of members of the 52nd National Assembly. On Thursday, the commission also announced the distribution of seats among political parties in the next parliament.
